临近星系,银河系核心区及脉动变星
李治平，男，1964年10月出生，汉族，中国科学院国家天文台研究员。1994年11月获得博士学位，从1987从事天文工作年以来，主要开展临近星系、银河系核心区以及脉动变星, 天文望远镜及其附属测光和分光仪器等内容的研究。 2016年开始参与国际30米口径大型光学红外望远镜的研发。在脉动变星的时序测光，近主序脉动变星周期分析及脉动模式证认，脉动变星的非线性现象及其模式选择特征，近主序不稳定带脉动变星的自转及速度场分布，银河系核心区的结构和演化，活动星系核的辐射机制以及临近星系的结构和演化等领域做了一些工作。参与中法西墨STEPHI联合观测四通道高速测光光度计,北京天文台85cm望远镜视向速度仪等项目的研制。总计发表学术论文66篇以上，第一作者SCI论文16篇，全部论文的SCI引用在200篇以上。在长期的变星研究中，和法国，西班牙，墨西哥，奥地利，匈牙利，美国等国天文工作者及仪器队伍进行过多次国际多台址联合观测和研究，与这些国家的学者有长期稳定的伙伴关系。曾被推荐担任过变星与不稳定星课题研究组组长，负责过一项自然科学基金重点项目，一项科学院重点项目，两项自然科学基金面上项目，曾经是国家攀登计划变星组成员。
