恒星演化和星际介质
方玄，男，1982年出生，湖北省通山县人，中共党员，中国科学院国家天文台研究员，博士生导师。2011年6月获得北京大学博士学位。2011年7月至2013年8月在北京大学天文系和科维理天文与天体物理研究所（KIAA）从事博士后研究；2013年9月至2016年2月在西班牙国家高等科学研究委员会IAA-CSIC研究所从事博士后研究；2016年3月至2019年12月在香港大学从事博士后研究。2020年1月入职国家天文台至今。
主要从事恒星晚期演化，特别是行星状星云相关的天体物理学方面的研究。研究成果发表于国际知名SCI期刊，包括《自然-天文学》等，总计26篇，其中第一作者/通讯作者论文15篇。多年来一直致力于采用新的观测手段和理论方法，对银河系内及河外行星状星云开展高分辨率成像和深度分光观测，具有丰富的使用先进望远镜的实测科研经验，并在多个研究方向取得了成果。
